so what is the point of the dyno then
I have no idea............ Most likely it's not to infringe upon Mikunis patents, and to do that you need to be 30% different, so it is what it is.
 
The stock jet is bigger then the dyno jet because Dynojet uses a smaller diameter needle then stock.

Are you sure about that? I ran with and without the DJ needle when I had my stock carb, and it didn't seem to make much of a difference.

I really don't know dude.
 
The difference between Mikuni and Dynojets sizes is how they measure them. Dynojet goes by the diameter of the hole, a 150 jet is 1.5mm. Mikuni goes by flow rate, a 150 jet flows 150cc's of fuel per minute.
