does it matter i have a 20 in there? it shouldnt should it

Yes it does matter because if the wires/components are NOT SUPOSE TO BE given anymore then 15A of current normally a 15A fuse would blow and prevent anything above 15 Amps. But since you shoved a 20A fuse in there the fuse is going take a little more then 20A now before it will blow; thus effectively frying anything that isn’t meant to handle this 20A load.
 
Death is right! If it didn't matter, they would have put a bigger fuse. The reason for having a fuse is to limit the amount of current allowed to a component. They are made so that the fuse blows before the part is damaged by the surge. Then you can replace the fuse instead of the part it is protecting.
