are you retarded?? c'mon dude think about it .5 means half..Right?? so there for .5 means that it adds half an inch to each side..making it 1 inch wider over all..

if you put +5s on a 450 or 400..you would be way to wide for almost any trail and prolly over the limit for MX

Yea I'm confused, I've never heard of +.5 or +1/2 a-arms. I checked out Houser's website and they do make them, but I'm not sure why?

they make them if you only want 1" overall added width.....

The main reason for a +.5 is if you want better, stronger a-arms, but can't handle any additional width. They even make stock length aftermarket arms. Stock arms are weaker and heavier than aftermarket ones, the ball joints on some aren't replacable, and they don't have as much travel as an aftermarket one can.

yeah they make the .5 arms for mainly 450 woods quads..which cant have anymore width added because then you wouldnt even be able to ride them in the woods with out hitting every tree..
