"Look at houser max height arms or something like that....they make them in +.5 for xc racing idk if they make them for 400ex's but i know they make them for 450r's because i was looking to get those if i got a 450r."

Yeah neather do i thats why i said theres a difference between .5 and 5
 
Yea I'm confused, I've never heard of +.5 or +1/2 a-arms. I checked out Houser's website and they do make them, but I'm not sure why?
 
The main reason for a +.5 is if you want better, stronger a-arms, but can't handle any additional width. They even make stock length aftermarket arms. Stock arms are weaker and heavier than aftermarket ones, the ball joints on some aren't replacable, and they don't have as much travel as an aftermarket one can.
 
yeah they make the .5 arms for mainly 450 woods quads..which cant have anymore width added because then you wouldnt even be able to ride them in the woods with out hitting every tree..
