80 horse isnt too much hell some sleds come with 170 horse people arent dying on them!! Snows not that forgiving!!! Someone can walk into a bike shop and buy a hyabusa today without ever riding one in there life.

80 horse in a sub 500 lbs machine would be nice or maybe even just right!

The YFZ is 351 LBS dry... Next A shaft driven quad is gonna have an assload of HP loss/response in the drive train alone... HP isnt everything either... The YFZ is fast because of its power to weight and due to how fast the motor builds its RPMs. If the YFZ was 400lbs and reved like a 400EX they wouldnt be to fast anymore... Not only is the YFZ motor very powerful but the speed at which it builds its RPMs and its light weight is why its so quick.

I was in at the local shop that sells Polaris yesterday and they had an Outlaw in the showroom. It is a chain drive just like some else has mentioned.

Its still a Polaris... lol I would bet money on any of the 450s walking over it...
