yea just get a new stud. Be careful taking old one out tho. Also heard heating a bit with torch will help get it out if its real stuck.
 
yes heat is good but if they are that bad just cut them at the nut and get pipe off and get new studs put in with new nuts and it will be all good when it's time to put back together
 
I had new studs put in mine while engine was in and it cost me about $40 at the shop mostly labor but I wanted it done right mine were stripped no threads left in head had to re-thread the head for new studs
 
SOOO to get your thread back on track i looked at your first post. I think the hammered grey would look pretty badass, and would go good with the color of your plastics.
 
OK if i got it rite u will c my $300 warrior as bought with a few no cost mods. before n now during makeover pics. First of all i just bought a sandblaster (pot type) from harbor crap~~~~dont work worth a **** with black beauty----i have old 1 but need a tip(5/16 tubing/thick wall is all i need ill thread it myself) it works good......ideas? Now for paint and my ideas, wide open 4 suggestions.....shes stripped n needs to get back together.........

1 frame - gray hammered finish (all colors wiil b rust-oleum hammered if available)
2 a-arms - black
3 swing n foot pegs - blue
4 bumper - shot need new 1 (anybody ?)
5 relay arm/rod/hubs - polished n cleared
6 brake sheilds - blue
7 rims - flipped n black bedliner
8 handle bar/lites - dunno??????
8 engine - black

well thats all for now i guess..............starting point
