Dont waste your money on an electric hopper.... that tippy at the most would pull a solid 8 balls per second. I put my electro on my tippy and it never even kicked on more than a few times.

I will have to disagree with you on this statement. I have en elec hopper on my 98 custom, and not only does it work fine, it also works rather frequently. Though i have sunk some money into it, The one main mod that made me use the elec hopper more effectively was the addition of the "Response Trigger". With that on and dialed in nicely, i can get close to 14-16 balls a sec with maybe 1 break per 1 1/2 full hopper dumps.
It was my spare gun, but since i sold my cocker, and rarely play, it collects dust in my closet...

Well thats one with a response trigger.... at the most i could get 8 out of mine.. and at that time it was shooting so bad the chances of hitting anything not within 15 yards were slim..... Tippmanns are just not made to shoot fast. Even with mods.

Ive tried to remedy the problem with and expansion chamber... electric hopper... good paint.. diffrent barrels.... a regulator..... never could i get it to hold a consistant pattern or velocity at high speeds.

I upgraded to a JT excellerator 6.0.... and now i only use the tippmann for woodsball which is exactly where it belongs. In the speedball field it just doesnt cut it.

Not sayin tippmanns are bad.. they are reliable and shoot decent however i just never liked mine more than the first month i had it.


I havent played in about 8 mothns either.

If any one on here is from ohio there is a new thing starting at TPA paintball in alliance its by akron if your wondering but its once every month and a bunch of people get together and its woods speed and everything. Were still working out the little things but it should be happening some time soon if interested ill get some more info.

my firends impulse is up for sale if anyone is interested.

it has many ups:
-cp low rise feed neck red
-cp drop red
-full freak
-trigger(really nice pull)

This is really fast and nice for an impulse. He made it black and red from the red parts from another impulse. Its all black and red and all matches really good unlike what the pics show.
