Thats going to look awesome with the daytona yellow. I really like the look of the rear plastics being the accent color. I might have to try that on mine. How well does the plasti dip hold up on the plastics?

if it's applied right it should hold up really well gonna go take a cruise on the trails right now so we shall see

Alright, well I'd like some feedback on how it holds up, I'm interested in possibly doing my rear plastics red. How many cans does it take to cover the rear and how many coats did you do?

I only used 1 can and I got a bout 3 thin coats applied on the top and 1 coat underneath but this was just a test to do it right you'll need to coat your rear fenders with the white plasti dip and then go over that with red or the red will be really dark because of your dark color plastic unless you want the red to be dark.
IDK if I end up not liking the yellow I'm just gonna go black and just do yellow accents which I'm leaning more towards anyway

as for the trails they are open but the majority of the land owners have the gates closed because it's still too wet and they don't want there land tore up so right now it's mostly road routes that are open so I will just wait till next weekend to ride kinda bummed but it ain't no fun running blacktop and ruining the tires

oh and the red, black clear and white are only $6 per 11 ounce can but the Blaze yellow, blue, purple, pink, green, are all $10 and up per 11 ounce can at Menards
everywhere I checked online the 11 ounce cans are around $7 but they charge $10 shipping so it's way cheeper to get at Menards or maybe Home Depot

Durability isn't even in the question. What do you think car bumpers are made of? Lol

well there are people plasti dipping there whole car now to protect the paint from the winter road salt and rock chips so that should say something on how durable it is

I'm with you Ed that black plasti would look kick ass on your quad. The yellow does look like a safety yellow, not bad but doesn't go with your color scheme. just my $.02. Good luck and keep posting those pics bro!!

I have a can of the Daytona Yellow on it's way it's the same yellow as your tank and hood plastic George

look forward to seeing the finished product Ed!! Does the plasti cover up scratches?

BTW- Jimmy you need to get rid of those 350 stickers. don't u have a 357 or 366?

With the solid colors it should I'll let ya know after I lay down the Daytona yellow
the blaze colors are a little on the transparent side so unless it's layer on real thick the scratches still show through
