Good luck steve!!!
Buzzy you gonna try the same with the shifter?? I got my nerfs but i orderd the polished with black nets and they sent them with blue nets, damn why cant sellers just send what they posted!! Now the waiting game to see what there going to do about it, if they say send the hole things back ill keep them and just buy some black nets!!

yeah i have a pretty good idea on how to do it also unless you do it first ill try to get some pics up

Cool as long as its regular metal ill probly be doing it soon but if its aluminum or pot metal i wont be able to weld it, we'll see..

yeah but my problem is you are welding cast steel to forged steel. that could make for some complications like spontaneous breaking and/or combustion.

but you do have to bend the frame and the header to access the exhaust coolant to be able to tap into the pump, where all the blinker fluid will drain out so you will have to refill it with mineral oil. then you have to remove a whole piece of the gas tank so you have somewhere to put your cooling lines, then you have to take off your hood for somewhere to put the cooler. :loco:

Can you suggest a good blinker fluid? I've been using the standard Yamalube fluid but I heard that there were some better brands out there. I use my blinkers pretty often so getting a good blinker fluid is crucial to me.

Naw a mig is super easy, arch is just more fun but the burns hurt more too...

true, true and when your welding a car frame dont sit on it while you are arking it. (Like me) you will get the shock of your life! (you will **** yo pants...) lol

dont for get the muffler bearings and the purple power band, and the best oil is the one it comes with from the factory, i have 3 pairs of brass balls on my quad and i can barley hang on with 642 horse i have to run a tank chain to my hydroshift mecinism and i had to lighten it up so the pisto and crank are now plastick carbon for a wet willy hoole shot and its easy to do my whipperdoodles now, oh and forget the exahust run straight block its the most power

Awesome, just bought ten bottles.

How's the hydroshifter treating you? I hope it can handle all that horsepower. One thing you should also do if you want more horsepower is to install a spoiler on your quad, gives you mad downforce and you can find a good deal on them if you can find one bundled with the purple powerband kit.

Sweet find man, I'll look into purchasing one. I actually just picked up a swingarm cooler, my swingarm gasket overheated last week and blew up, definitely not letting that happen again.

damn dude! did you blow off your flux capacitor in the prosess?

That's EXACTLY why I never done it. Too confusing and too much work. lol
