I had to notch my skid also. The dogbone sat so low to the ground that i actually left lines on the trails. Trust me its not worth it.

I think I need to replace my rollers and the sliders getting down there I'm just afraid when my rear wheels come off the ground and the chains at proper tension it'll pop and smash my case
 
So I ordered my flush mount stems lower link rollers and a few other little parts I was needing hopefully ill fix it up soon
 
That terrain looks familiar. I always wanted to ride down there but couldn't haul my quad 980 miles. lol
 
Thanks bro it was hard to find a place were we could video with my phone it's so big of an area it made finding a spot my suspension could handle cause its not jump whoop or rut worthy yet
 
It looks like a nice place to ride, where I live its all woods, I hardly ever see sand other than shallow creek wash.Don't you just love how the Iphones post sideways videos lol.
 
Ya ha ha it's a very small portion of the 400,000 acres out were we were shredding but me an my buddy covered 70 miles today
