True, but good music is good music. Other than listening to some jaz on occasion. Can't stand that rap crap.

definitely Gen Rap is crap I personally like the 70's and 80's rock and of course some of the new **** too

60s 70s and a good bit of the 80s for me. Beetles are the ****. Changed the face of rock music.

Ok.. So heres my modded kicker. I works great!
I kicked it over a few times, and no problems.... Well cept one.
My heel hits the fender still.

This is how much I need to cut out for my heel to clear when I kick it over.

What do you guys think? Would it look real stupid if I cut that heel relief out like that, or should I just go for function over form?

It may not look too bad. Maybe if you did the other side to match. Glad the kicker worked. Looks good.

Dude, you do nice work, I'm certain that you can find a way to tastefully cut & trim that fender to be functional. Make it work bro. I'll bet you could even find a way to heat it and shape it for clearance w/o the cut. Either way, It won't look bad man, besides, you have a friggin 490 Warrior!!!!!!

Thanx man (about my work) I out do myself sometimes.. lol

I was wondering if that cut would look kinda weird? But I'm just gonna cut it anyway. Theres no way I could bend it enuf for my heel to clear it.

But yah.. Just a few more tweeks. I should have her going.
Big bore Yami all the way baby!!

I think it will look okay. I would try to match the new inside cut with the curve of the outside cut. Probably look good.

Well I could do that..
But I guarantee that I'll be riding it in running shoes, and shorts most the time.
I want good clearance, and no sharp edges. So theres no way it'll really match the fender cut.

BTW.. Custom is what this whole quads about.. It's to bad your not in my area.. We could have a 465/490 shootout.

Dude, I don't have a Warrior465 but I'd be happy to bust your ass on the dirtbike, Lol! J/K, this wouldn't be much fun if I couldn't bust your balls a lil bit, haha!
Seriously though, I've thought about trying a 465 conversion in the spare frame I have, I just have too nice of an old vintage bike to tear it apart for that. I'd be happy to do a mid 80's YZ250 conversion with a TRI-Z forward kick conversion in the clutch cover. A newer 450 engine would be cool too but they're just soooo expensive, ugh! I think with 40hp+ the YZ250 would run great in a Warrior. I love custom stuff but I believe that the trick is doing it tastefully enough that it appears to have come that way from the factory. Personally I think the radiator would be challenging to make look right.

Wheres the like button..
Oh yah wrong site. lmao

But I bet with the right gearing, and the fact I have the 5 speed over you 465's 4 speed.. It would be a good race.
(I did a few mods to my motor as well)

And I would love to see someone put a YZ250 into a YFM frame. It's like I had mentioned earlier in the thread, the 250 was my original choice.
But it was the rad that backed me off. I bet a banshee rad would work though?
