Yes I found quarters for it. It will be one of the first things I buy for it. Will probably get all the panels I need, which isn't much. I've been looking into doing the Jeep 4.0l head swap onto the 232 bottom end. Will use the 4bbl Clifford intake, make my own dual headers, hei dist, atleast a 390 cfm, either a Comp cam or the Clifford cam. Will be a noice little 6 cylinder. I have to look into rods and pistons for it. I can get cast stock replacement pistons, but some more comp would be nice. Still kickin around a v8 build for it. Found some more Chrystler 360 piston choices. Prices arent' too bad on Keith Black hyperuretic dome pistons. About 370 for the set. Forged scat rods about the same. The heads are what is expensive. Only been able to find Edelbrock heads far as aftermarket. Talkin 1500 for the pair. That hurts! Sweet heads though. I'm not a Chrystler guy, so Idk if the iron heads on the 360 I got with it are worth using or not. Also, have still been seriously thinking about a 350 sbc for it. Can do it cheaper then both the 360 and the 232, and make more power doing it. But, I'm really liking the idea of he 6cyl. It would be so cool.

Ed you are the ebay master! Find me a set of those ski doo precision skis for the warski, for less than $200 bucks.

Hell yea man, thanks! I gotta get this Comanchee running and get the title from my friend. That way I can sell it and fund the Javelin. I'm going to get the front disc conversion brackets I posted on here. I can get all the other brake hardware at cost, so it's a no brainer. Way better then spend 800 bucks on a front disc kit. I still have to rebuild the steering and front suspension, too. I love chassis work;)

Keep the six, and don't bastardize it with a SBC man.... Those old Javelin's aren't a car you see to often anymore. I think you should stick as close to original as you can. :iagree:

I really think I am bude. And a lot of that is because they are so hard to find. And, in all honesty, I don't want to fab up motor mounts and ruin the originality of the car. If it was a factory V8 it would be so much better for a performance build. But this bitch is rare as hell with the factory A/C. That works! I can easily break 200hp with the I6. The most the cherokee made was 190 from factory. This car has 145 horse. Only talking a 45 horse difference. I do everything I have listed in the previous post and it will probably turn (as a guess) 250.

Now, here is a eye hunt for you guys, seeing as how I have to get up a 6 and most of you are on till the weee hours of the morning... I can get a reman power disc booster for her, but, I need the mounting bracket. Standard manual drum/drum master has 2 mounting holes to the firewall. The booster, has 4. So I ask you guys, to search if ya don't mind

Okay, having hard time finding the brake booster mounting bracket. Inlisting the help of the forum.

I suppose that will work. I was trying, hoping, praying to find a factory part. I've never seen one, so I'm not sure if it will even work.

well what you are saying is that it is a 2 bolt to the firewall and you need to convert it to a 4 bolt? i might be able to machine you one up out of aluminum if ya cant find one like that. god i love CAD!

I was able to find a booster from rockauto.com. There are some boosters on ebay, too. Doing google searches it pulled up a small blurb from amcforum.com that someone has been using ford boosters on em. Didn't look into it any further since I had to get sleep. I may join that forum, Idk yet. All I need is the deminsions and I can make it myself. Then again, the machined one would be cool as a cucumber.

The title for the Javelin came in today. Guy signed it, but, never swapped it to his name. So all I have to do is swap it into mine. Just ordered the rear quarter panels Hauler found on ebay, and I ordered the front disc brake conversion brackets I found on ebay. The restoration has OFFICIALLY begun! AND, I got the title to the Jeep Comanchee that I bartered for. Once it's repaired it's going up forsale and will fund the Javelin. I'm all hopped up on Mountain Dew!!!! LMFAO!
