Suzuki Quadracer R450

Maybe it's a dumb question but I've never been around fuel injected quads.
Why can't you roll em off or "pop start" em but you can a fuel injected truck?

I beleive it is because the Fuel delivery system is computer controlled.

If the machine is not cranking, it's not delivering fuel.

I could be wrong though.

It looks like it was an afterthought. "Hey guys, how we gonna ride this thing at night? Better throw a light on there." I realize it is removable for track, but c'mon, at least make it look integrated.

Where are you getting an LTR for 6,400 OTD - I have someone (he is a suzuki *** lol) here who would be interested in contacting that dealer in regards to one since we are pretty close.

*Also its very foolish to buy the first year of any new bike.

I'm getting the bike in Troy, NY at Troy City Garage.

And about the first year thing, I started to think about that last night. I might wait a little longer to see what problems arise with it.

i rode one and by far it has gobs of power, and rides nice, but death has a good point, suspension and efi are somewhat of a downset, but in stock form its a great bike

Dont know why really but we tried to pop start a "700" craptor and it wouldnt. You cant pop a lot of cars/trucks today either.

dude, you have a warrior, im sure the ltr450 looks alot better, have you even seen one in person yet?

throw a new fibe industries hood on, light solved
trim the plastics, solves that
heelgaurds, a buttload of companies are making propegs w/ intergrated that look sick

and yellow, its faster looking than your warrior, i mean come on, yellow is a cool color, smiley faces are cool, or do you hate them also?

Word, RMC. I went to see one today, and I'll tell ya, it looks sooooo much better in person than it does in the magazine pictures.

Yes, I have seen one in person and it still looks like a Suzuki!

And based on the fact that the R450 was developed and marketed as 'track ready', I would hope it looks a lot better/faster than a Warrior.

Think about where the sport was when the Warrior cam out and where it is today. That's called evolution of the sport, son.

That's like comparing the 'new' (05) Mustang and the Demons/Dusters of the 70's.

Yes, yellow is a cool color. Provided its not some cross between pastel yellow and chartreuse like the R450's plastics.

Oh and by the way RMC, it's nice to see you posting somewhere besides POTM/QOTM. Does this mean you are over your menstrual cramps??

Up until you started your little 'power trip' I had the utmost respect for you. Read back through some of the posts prior to it.

So, back on topic.

What are everyones thoughts on Suzies efforts to balance the bike by using the centernejecting exhaust.

Since almost everything on the bike except the exhaust has a right and a left hand part, this would seem like an obvious advantage to weight centering.

But, does the exhaust really weigh enough to upset the weight of the bike?

i agree, i went to my dealership when they first got one on the showroom floor.. they look sick, and man, the sound of them, with a stock pipe.. its crazy.

well, if you guys hate the ltr so much.. look in the mirror.. you're driving a freakin warrior..
