well i will finally be able to post up in here... so far i have ordered:
nerf bars, handle bar clamp cover, ebrake removal plate, new brake lever and perch, LED tail light, HID kit, heel guards, and prob some new bars 1 1/8 and risers today... also got a trans cooler to do the oil cooler mod. going to be a busy weekend laying powder on this stuff and getting it on the bike

I get the feeling that the powder pros bike is gonna be bad ass when done...keep us updated with pics

Gonna be shooting some video of me riding around in the snow with the WarSki in the next hour or so.STAY TUNED!!!will be posting video in the Videos section

with the help form the forum i hope so... not going to tear it down to the frame till i ride it a bit and busness eases back a bit for us... prob in the spring... that said... i did just order all the paint i need for the plastics and got a 3m plastic repair kit to fix the plastics... i think i am going to lay down a white base, and then do graffiti style paint all over it
one of my buddies owns an art gallery where they do some wicked style paint work... he has been die'n to get his hands on one of our bike builds, but nothing ever really fit the bill... i think this may be perfect... that said... i have shot a ton of sport bike fairings and added flex into my mix before shooting, but i have never shot something like a quad fairing that will need to really bend and bow... so it will be a bit of touch an go to come up with the right mix in my clear and hardener, or not even clear it at all, this way if it gets scratched up or someting i can jsut add more right to the top of it.. i am thinking either way a satin clear will be better to allow me to get a good mix and get me out of having to wet sand and polish... if you guys are on facebook look us up at the powder pro, or paper crown art gallery if you want to see some bad ass paint work...

I may have to build this one backwards... that the paint done first and then do my powder work to match that after it is completed... but for now i am going to ride the piss out of it to figure out what changes i need to make to get it set up how i want it... so i am going to need allot of help i am sure

here is some of his work that i would like on the plastics

Damn! Dude does nice work! I finished tearing mine down tonight. Got the carb cleaned, re jetted, accel pump modded and re installed. Started the install of my new air filter set up. Pulled the exhaust off. Cleaned up my new pipe. Took the starter out and cleaned years of gunk out of it. It was a good night! Oh....and I very successfully stripped the head on the oil drain plug. Damn it!

i stripped that bolt on the drain plug too. I used one of those sockets for stripped bolts and got it. The damn thing feels like it made of tin foil. Also doesnt help if it was on there tight as hell.

Yea I was gonna try one of those but don't have one on hand. Friggen thing is on tight as hell!

Ah man that sucks least you got a ton of **** done. Soak that sucker in on blast for a night, then heat and it will slide right out

I moved my quad to its new home near my girlfriends house. I then installed the set of tires I bought last week. I paid $200 for the set of 4 with the white Yamaha wheels.

I haven't have the chance to take it out yet, I'm sure it will hook up well in a strait line. How do the square profile tires compare to the round profile ones?

Front are Hole shots, I dont know what the code on them is XC, SX...?

The rear are Razr 2's

i imagine you'll get more front traction on the hard pack stuff; but not the soft stuff like sand and mud.

10x better then those ballony things you had, should make it a interesting ride! It will slide easier thats for sure

I really didnt mind how it handled with the other tires, they were quite predictable in the trails. I dont think it will matter much what tires i put on the back I'll be able to spin them. I'm hoping that the braking on the front will be a bit better. I have another full set of tires I'm really looking forward to using if it ever gets cold enough to get out on the ice.

Another $200 for this set back in sept
